For your 2020 Freedom Elite on the F-350 chassis, you will need to first add a 4 pole trailer wiring if nothing is present.
You can use the 4-Pole Hardwire Kit with Circuit Tester # 18252 to do this, which also comes with a test light so you can verify the functionality of the wires.
Finally, before the actual brake controller, you'll need to add a 7-way trailer connector with # ETBC7. This harness will hook into the 4-pole wiring that you added, and will provide you with everything needed for a brake controller and will also add a 7-way to your vehicle.
Finally, now you're ready to add the brake controller to your 2020 Freedom Elite. I recommend going with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195, with the plug -in adapter # 3035-P.
This brake controller has a customizable, easy to read, LCD screen, 5 storable settings, and an automatic leveling ability which will detect deceleration even if the controller is not mounted flat.
If you already have the factory tow package, you can ignore the first two steps, and simply mount the brake controller and plug in the adapter and you'll be good to go.
