Solution to Raise 5th Wheel For Additional Tire Clearance
Question:
I ordered the Equa-flex Equalizers - Greasable Pivot - Tandem - 5k To 8k to replace my cre3000 2.5 with shackles my fifth wheeler has 2 axles each is 4400, and plan to upgrade all the shackles with greaseable wet bolts. Any suggestion for shackles size to help lift my camper a little at least to prevent my problem of touching the tire to the floor?

In order to raise your trailer up and keep your tires from rubbing you can use the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00. This will allow you to flip your axles and gain additional clearance. This kit is designed for a 3" diameter axle with double-eye leaf springs. You will need two kits, one for each axle. Increasing the length of your shackles would not raise your trailer up and solve the problem.
For upgraded shackles, wet bolts, and bronze bushings I recommend the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers. The correct kit will depend on the length of your current shackles. If you have 2-1/4" shackles then you need the # MR46ZR. For 3-1/8" shackles you will need the # MR76ZR instead.
I have attached some review and installation videos for your reference.
