Carrying Two E-Bikes On My RV With A Trailer Hitch

Question:

I need advice on a hitch bike rack for a class C RV with a rear slide out. I would like the ability to either lower the rack with bikes loaded or swing to the side, so we don’t need to unload bikes to put the slide out. We have 2 ebikes, one fat tire weighing 60#. I’ve looked at the Rockymounts backstage, but wasn’t sure if it is RV rated or would clear the side of the RV when swung out. I also looked at the Thule easy fold XT, it sure about RV rated. Our rig is 47” from center of hitch to edge of vehicle. Thank you,

We do offer some hitch bike racks that are RV compatible, but they are not rated to carry e-bikes. The are also not swing away hitch bike racks. For example, the Swagman Traveler XC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches or RV Bumpers - Frame Mount, part # S64663, is RV compatible. but only rated to carry bikes up to 35 lbs.

In addition, you cannot use any swing away adapters on a RV. Swing away adapters are not rated for use on RVs or motorhome. Due to this, we do not have a swing away bike rack compatible with RVs AND able to carry bikes up to 60 lbs.

I have included a video review below.
