Will Reese Hitch Cargo Carrier Work with OEM Foldable Hitch on 2022 Volvo XC90
Question:
Dear Customer Service, I am interested in purchasing the Reese Explore ProSeries 63153 for my Volvo XC90. One issue for my vehicle is the hitch is a retractable hitch that folds underneath the vehicle chassis when not in use. Is this type of hitch compatible with the Reese hitch rack? Look forward to your feedback. Thanks

That's a pretty sweet hitch on your Volvo XC90!
I honestly don't see any reason why there would be an issue with using the 24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier # 63153 in the factory foldable hitch other than making sure there is enough depth for the shank to fully seat. From what I'm seeing you need about 2-1/2" from the end of the shank to the center of the hitch pin hole.
If you measure less than 2-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of your hitch receiver let me know and I can see if we have something else that will work instead.
You also might be interested in the Light Kit # 20174 and the Adapter # HM47365 so you have clear lighting in the event that you have the carrier loaded with tall and/or wide products.
