Will The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit a 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX Aftermarket Exhaust?
Question:
I have a 2012 Subaru WRX 5 door with an Invidia R400 gemini exhaust. The tips of the exhaust are larger diameter than stock, - 4 inches. I am interested in purchasing ecohitch X7261 trailer hitch. Can this hitch be installed on the WRX with larger diameter exhaust tips.

I reached out to EcoHitch to see if they had any fitment notes on your 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX with the Invidia R400 Gemini Exhaust. They were not able to confirm or deny that their Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7261 will fit with that exhaust. I have linked an image below that shows where the receiver attaches to the frame so that you will be able to see the area where you may have clearance issues with your aftermarket exhaust.
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56111 is custom fit for your WRX to give you a 4-way flat connector. This connector is needed for towing small trailers and will also allow for Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if your hitch mounted accessory impairs the view of your tail lights.
