How To Send Brake And Turn Signals Through A Travel Trailer To A Boat Trailer

I have a 202 Heartland Mallard M260 and I want to be able to tow may boat behind my travel trailer. I have the receiver hitch ed. What I am not sure of I how do I connect the boats tail lights to the travel trailers tail lights?

You would need to wire in a 4-pole connector like # 18004 into the tail lights of your 2020 Heartland Mallard M260 travel trailer to send the signal from the travel trailer to the boat trailer. This will require some additional additional wiring # 16-4B-1 and some heat shrink butt connectors # DW05744-10 for a watertight connection.

Once this is complete you can plug in the 4-pole connector from your boat trailer into your travel trailer.
