Will 7-Way Trailer Wiring # 118265 Fit a 2012 Honda Pilot LX without Factory Tow Package

Question:

Stupid question, but I this is my first time trying to buy the following accessories. I am interested in buying trailer wiring for my Honda Pilot though I am not exactly sure which one to buy if the 118265 or the 118558. If my vehicle doesnt come with the the factory tow package, should I then assume the 118558 is the item I need? I am planning on towing a pop-up camper that has a 7 way plug, in this case I should also purchase the adapter since this item only comes with the 4 pole-flat connector?

Whether your 2012 Honda Pilot has the factory tow package or not you can add the 7-Way harness # 118265 to either one. So since you need a 7-Way for your camper you would go ahead and use # 118265. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
