What Hitch do You Recommend to Use with a Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 on a 2018 Honda CR-V?
Question:
Good day, I currently drive a Honda CR-V manufactured in 2018 2WD version. I am looking at the accessories required to install a Thule Easyfold bike rack at the rear. I understand that I need a tow hitch and the accompanying ball mount but am unsure which ones to choose. Can I ask for your guidance on which tow hitch and ball mount would allow me to mount the Thule Easyfold XT?

In order to mount the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 on your 2018 Honda CR-V, all you need is a hitch receiver. There is no ball mount necessary to use the bike rack.
For a compatible hitch, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13397. Not only does this hitch provide you with the 525 pounds of maximum tongue weight and 3,500 pounds of gross towing weight, it also comes with a superior gloss outer coat over the base powder coat that provides better protection against rust and corrosion than our other brands. It also comes with a concealed crosstube that gives your CR-V more of a factory design instead of having a bulky visible crosstube. To top it all off, it is assembled here in the U.S.A.
You will not have any bumper clearance issues when using the EasyFold XT with the Curt hitch.
