Side-To-Side Movement of Reese M5 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
I’ve have only used the 5th wheel once and it all seemed great, but After unhooking and driving away I noticed the 5th wheel plate was moving, side to side I looked it over and it only wiggles a little bit to driver’s side of truck. It may have done it before and I hadn’t noticed because my bed cover was over the top. Is this normal or should I be checking things out.

The Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # RP30922 that you linked to has a fully articulating head so side-to-side movement is expected. However, if you have concerns then you should return to the dealership that installed and request the hitch be checked out before next occasion of use.
