Recommended Hitch for OEM Tow Prep Package in 2013 Ram 3500 Long Bed

Do I need any other parts for this hitch to fit my 2013 Ram 3500 4x4 with 8foot bed. It already has the factory installed 5th wheel/gooseneck underbed installation kit. Thanks

The puck system in your truck bed provided by the OEM under-bed install kit does not match up with the feet of the Reese M5 Series # RP30921 5th Wheel Hitch. This hitch is compatible with the aftermarket Reese underbed install pucks as well as the OEM Ford tow prep package. For some reason, Ram decided to go their own way and make the footprint of their puck system different.

However, Reese does offer a fifth wheel hitch that is compatible with the puck system. The Reese OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package, part # RP30918 would be a great choice. The hitch is compatible with the pucks in your truck bed, and would drop right into place and install in minutes. The hitch has a 20K capacity
