I can get you setup to flat tow your 2012 Honda CR-V. The first thing you will need is the base plate. My recommendation is the etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms, part # e98955. The nice thing about this base plate is it remains hidden when your vehicle is not being towed.

The next piece you need is a tow bar. I am a fan of the Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 10K, part # RM-422. It is a non-binding tow bar, so you do not have to be on level ground to hook up your vehicle. You also do not need any special bars or adapters to attach this tow bar to the base plate. You will also need safety cables for this system. I have included the 40" Vinyl Coated Safety Cables with Clevis Hook (Qty. 2) by Dutton-Lainson, 6,500 lbs., part # DL20119.

The next piece to your system is the wiring kit to so your towed vehicle can mirror the brake lights, turn signals, and running lights of your 2015 Jayco Melbourne 29D Class C motorhome. You can use the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, part # RM-154. This wiring harness splices into your motorhomes wires.

The last piece is the supplemental braking system. This is a proportional braking system, so your flat towed vehicle will have its brakes applied with the same force you apply your brakes in your motorhome. I am a fan of the Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional, part # HM39524.

I have included product description links, video installation links, and a video review link below.
