Replacement Air Bag Helper Spring System for a 1997 Ford F-250 Light Duty Pickup

Depending on the age of your Air Bags on your 1997 Ford F-250 Light Duty truck they may be obsolete. If you can find any identifying marks on the outside of the bags I can use those numbers to find out if a replacement is still available.

Otherwise I recommend replacing the setup with the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs w/ Internal Bumpers # AL88215. This system uses stainless steel mounting hardware, roll plates and air lines to prevent corrosion. The bags feature an internal jounce bumper that reduces bouncing under heavy loads and can temporarily protect the air bags from damage due to underinflation. This kit does require at least 8" between your frame and the inside of the tire to fit properly.
