Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack for a 2016 Winnebago Voyage Fifth Wheel

Question:

Recommended hitch for 2016 winnebago voyage fifth wheel. Frame width is 68 inches outside to outside of frame. I would like to pull my 16.5 ft aluminum tiller fishing boat or two place bike rack.

The Multi-Fit Motor Home Trailer Hitch, 47" - 71" wide item # 82201 is going to be our highest capacity hitch for your Winnebago Voyager. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 300 lbs tongue weight. You will want to verify the capacity of your 5th wheel and tow vehicle to ensure they can handle the additional weight of a boat trailer.

For a bike rack, I recommend the Swagman Traveler XC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches or RV Bumpers - Frame Mount item # S64663. The Traveler XC2 is one of only a few bike racks that is rated to be towed behind a 5th wheel trailer.

To tow your boat you will also need the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
