Question:
I am thinking of buying Roadmaster EZ Crossbar Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # 523149-1 for my 2010 buick Enclave. 1st time wheels down towing I have a blue ox very similar to your Item # BX4330. What I need to know is what bracket and how much it is to attach your base plate to the blue ox tow bar? Thanks

In order to use the Roadmaster EZ Crossbar Style Base Plate Kit # 523149-1 with your Blue Ox tow bar like the Blue Ox Acclaim Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX4330 you would need to use the RoadMaster Base Plate to Blue Ox Tow Bars Adapter # RM-033.
Since you mentioned this is your first time flat towing, I have included the other parts you will need to flat tow. A flat tow package consists of at least 5 main parts and often times requires some additional parts. The 5 main parts are a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring and a supplemental braking system. You already have the tow bar and the above base plate kit would provide the base plate kit. If your tow bar has safety cables you are good to go there. If not you can use the Blue Ox 7' Safety Cables # BX88196.
Tow Bar wiring allows you to use your Buick Enclave's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV. Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267.
You will also want the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch # RM-76517 because your Buick will require fuses to be pulled. I have included a Technical Bulletin that talks about this as well.
The supplemental braking system will allow you to safely travel with and stop your Enclave behind your motorhome. The Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 provides you with a proportional braking system that never has to be removed, replaced, or reset.
You will want to consult the owners manual of your 2010 Buick Enclave to ensure you are doing everything that is recommended/required for flat towing your Enclave.
