Is There a Plug-and-Play Replacement OEM 7-Way Harness for the 2003 Ford F-350 6.0 Diesel

Question:

I need a pigtail that will fit into the existing factory harness. It looks like the one on #118243, but that says it will not work on a 2003. I read another post that one of the guys at etrailer did and said it would work on a 2003. So will it work or not? I want a setup like the #118243 and do not want to hard wire it. 2003 f-350 XLT 6.0 diesel

I confirmed with TowReady that their OEM replacement 7-way harness, part # 118243, fits the Ford F350 for model years 1999 through 2001. They do not offer a replacement plug-and-play harness with 7-way that will directly mate with your gray Ford OEM connector. They indicated that this is available only from Ford.

We do offer a TowReady combination 7-way/4-way trailer connector with round plug, part # HM40975, which is a confirmed fit for the 2003 F350 Super Duty. You can use this in conjunction with the Ford OEM harness.
