Can Yakima SideBar Rails for Yakima OverHaul HD Short Bed be Used on Long Bed Truck

Will this fit on my tacoma longbed with my overhaul rack or do I have to get a long bed version?

You can use the SideBar Rails for Yakima OverHaul HD # Y01153 on a long bed truck but they are shorter so you'd have to have the uprights slid closer together. We also have the long bed version with part # Y01154.

The short bed version has a length range between 38-3/4 inches and 62-1/8 inches whereas the long bed version has a range between 62-3/4 inches and 86-15/16. I'd recommend going with which set has the length range that would match what you need the best.

The Yakima SideBar Rails cannot be cut as the assembly does in fact involve one bar sliding into the other like you mentioned and it would not be structurally sound, but there is a short bed version of these rails, which is the SideBar Rails for…
