Parts Needed To Add a Upgraded Circuit Protection Module On a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500
Question:
Hello I have an 06 ram 2500 that has trailer harness issues. Could you point me in the right direction on part numbers to the correct “upgraded circuit protection module” for a 7 pin socket with trailer brakes? Thanks

If your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 came with the factory tow package and the issue is with the 7-way connector itself we do have the Hopkins Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector # HM42190 that will plug into the factory connector on the back of your Ram to fix your issue.
Otherwise you will need the Upgraded Heavy Duty ModuLite Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # C59496 since you want a module as the custom fit harness # 118381 for your Ram does not have a module. You will be able to connect this 4-way to the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. That will allow you to wire in a Brake Controller # 90195.
