If your 1981 Ford F-250 already has a 4-way connector installed simply add etrailer"s Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller, # ETBC7. This kit includes everything you need to install an electric trailer brake controller and 7-way connector. If your truck does not already have a 4-way flat installed, use the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness, # HM40115 to install the 4-way flat connector first.
Please note the linked product videos below along with a couple help articles that walk you through the installation of the Universal Kit, # ETBC7. The 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, # HM40115 is a straight forward plug and play installation.
