Replacement Hubs for BTR Spindles on Sonic Utility Trailer with 2000 lb Lippert Axle

Question:

Is this the correct HUB for a utility trailer with the following specs: Sonic utility trailer, 13inch wheels, 5X4 1/2, BTR spindle EZ Lube, bearings L44649 and L44649. The only reason I am questioning this is that the axle is 2000# manufactured by Lippert Components, not Dexter. Everything else seems to match up.

As long as the surface of the spindle where the grease seal rides is 1-1/2 inches in diameter, the # 8-258-50UC1 hub you'd looked at would indeed be compatible. The spindles on Lippert axles cross compatible with most Dexter hubs, so that won't present a problem. The only possible issue is that the # 8-258-50UC1 provides grease caps designed for use with standard (not EZ Lube) spindles.

The etrailer brand # AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-2K would be a less expensive alternative that would also be compatible and includes dust caps with the removable plugs for easier access to the grease zerks on your EZ Lube spindle.

Both hubs include the inner and outer bearings and races, the grease seal, the grease cap and the lug nuts.
