Lippert Road Armor Equalizers and Wet Bolt Kit For a Forest River Cherokee 274BRB

I want to upgrade my equalizers on my Forest River Cherokee 274BRB. I am looking to get the Lippert Road Armor equalizers, but Im not sure what wet bolt kit to get. Factory equalizers measure 5 3/4 shackle bolt to shackle bolt, 3 1/2 center bolt diagonally to shackle bolt, about 1 3/4 center bolt down to shackle bolts. Shackle bolts are 2 1/4 spread. Can I run the Road Armors? What shackle wet bolt kit could I get?

Yes, you can run the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 on your Forest River Cherokee 274BRB.

I recommend using the Lippert AP Kit - Tandem Axle Road Armor Wet Bolts and Shackles # LC52SV on your Forest River. These shackles are 3-1/8" bolt hole center spread so that will keep you close to your same ride height since the Road Armor equalizer is taller than your standard equalizer.

The Grease Gun # L30416 has a flexible hose that will help you fill the wet bolts. I recommend using LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease # L11390 with the wet bolts as it is formulated to work well in hot and cold climates as well as being highly water insoluble.
