Weight Distribution System for V-Nose Trailer with 1,000 lb Tongue Weight
Question:
I have a 30ft class A motorhome that has a 10,000 lb gross weight hitch if used with a wd system. Max tw is 1000 lbs. I have a 24 ft enclosed trailer with GTW of 10,000 lbs. My trailer is a V nose, so may be an issue with distance for the clamps. Not sure. Want to install a WD system. Any suggestions you can give would be appreciated.

For V-nose trailers the solution to allow chain hangers to attach to the trailer frame is to go with bolt on hangers like the part # RP58305 which attach to the side of the trailer frame and do not require clearance above it. So for a Reese system you could use with this system the # RP66542 would work great as it has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs.
