Can You Replace The Factory Hitch Receiver On A 2004 Toyota Tundra.
Question:
Could you please link me to the correct application to replace an 04 sr5 tundra hitch? The factory towable bumper has rusted out with holes in it and is not longer safe to use. The question is which of these bumpers would work while still offering mounting holes to support the bumper? I have pics I can send you of the removed hitch for clarity. Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out, those factory bumpers are a unique situation but I have a solution or two for you:
**Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13184.
*Westin Fey Surestep Rear Bumper - Black Powder Coated Steel # 61001.
My first recommendation is to replace the rusted out factory receiver with the Curt trailer hitch and bumper with the Westin Fey. The way it is designed you have to have a factory hitch if you want to reuse that bumper because they bolt to each other.
If you want to keep the factory look you will have to go to a Toyota dealer and purchase the factory parts from them.
