Will the Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier # M2205 Fit on a 2011 Ford Edge
Question:
Can this CarPod be used with a hitch riser and/or hitch extension adapters? I have a Ford Edge 2011 and it has a draw-tite hitch #75709, from the center of its pin hole to the bumper edge is about 5-5 1/2. I was wondering if I could get an receiver extension and use any of the CarPods with it, preferably the M2205. Thanks

The Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier, # M2205, that you referenced will work with your 2011 Ford Edge and will not require the use of a hitch extension or adapter. I have attached a demonstration video of this carrier on a 2013 Ford Edge for you to check out.
The Edge in the video is the non Sport model and has the Draw-Tite Class III Trailer Hitch, # 75992, installed. Keep in mind, the hitch pin and clip are sold separately from the Carpod carriers. For a standard pin and clip, you can use part # PC3, but I recommend using the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, # 63232, if you plan on leaving the vehicle and carrier unattended.
