How To Attach Trailer Connector To Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver On 2021 Dodge Durango

I am looking at trailer hitch DT38MR and wiring # 118617 for my 2021 Durango. It appears that the hitch does not have a tab welded on for the mount bracket # 18144. What wire mount/bracket would you recommend to mount to this hitch?

In order to attach a trailer connector to the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT38MR like the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118617 you'll simply need the No-Drill Mount for Electrical Mounting Bracket part # 18140 and Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat part # 18144. The no-drill bracket will wrap around the hitch crosstube with the band clamp and then you just attach the four way bracket to this.

That said, you can actually just secure the connector to the safety chain loops with the dust cap if you don't want to mess with the brackets but they will be more secure and easier to use.
