Question:
will this front hitch help me back my boat down my tight driveway

Helpful Expert Reply:
Installing a front mounted hitch like Curt Front Hitch for the 2012 Silverado, part # C31023 on your Silverado would provide more visability when moving a trailer into position. It has a 2 x 2 inch receiver opening, and can also accomodate other accessories like winches, snowplow, and cargo carriers. This hitch has a line pull capacity of 9000 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 500 lbs. This hitch has easy, bolt-on installation and requires no welding for installation, but does require trimming the fascia. I have linked you to an installation video for this hitch.
