What do I need to flat tow my 2021 Chevy spark with manual transmission. My RV is already set up with an electric brake for a trailer?

There are five primary components you need for a safe flat towing setup. These are (1) Base Plates that mount to the front of your 2021 Chevrolet Spark and provide the mounting point between the Spark and the motorhome for the (2) Tow Bar. You will also need (3) Safety Cables in case a failure of the Tow Bar occurs, this is required by law. The indicator lights between the RV and the towed vehicle will need to be connected with (4) an Electrical Wiring solution. And (5) a Supplemental Braking set-up is needed to help stop the towed vehicle. This too is required by law. This is different than an electric brake controller that used for electric brakes on a trailer.

You may or may not need a high/low adapter, it all depends on each combination of motorhome and towed vehicle. I have attached a help article below that explains what this is and walks you through the process of measuring so as discover if needed. The goal is to ensure your tow bar sets at level +/- 3" once installed. Otherwise, there is the possibility of excessive wear on tire and suspension components of your towed vehicle.
