Best Bike Rack for Heavy e-Bikes at Back of Travel Trailer

Question:

I am looking for a rack that can hold two 70lb bikes that will work on the back of a travel trailer. I have an airstream trailer and if I put a receiver hitch on the back of the trailer, wouldnt most of these hitch mount bike racks work? You website shows them and not compatible with trailers.

For your application you need to go with the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric FAT PRO Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # LGA77FR. You would think that any bike rack would work at the back of a trailer and while they will technically fit the receiver tube, the various manufacturers have said their racks aren't strong enough for the extra movement at the back of a trailer. The V-Lectric is a monster of a bike rack though and can handle 75 lb bikes and it's also rated for use on a trailer.

If you don't already have a trailer hitch on your travel trailer I recommend checking out the Curt Adjustable Width Hitch Receiver # C13704 as it is compatible with trailer frames 22" to 66" wide.
