Carrying Bikes Level with the Thule Passage Trunk Mount Bike Rack on a 2011 Volvo XC90
Question:
I have 2011 Volvo xc90, installed rack, front bike tires are close to the ground and have hit the road when driving. I have it set to dial #9 per instructions. Any recommendations?

Yes, you can use the Thule adapter bar # TH982XT. This particular adapter bar was designed for exactly this reason. It creates an artificial top tube by attaching to the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post so you can carry your bike more level and have better ground clearance. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.
