Replacement Hardware Mounting Kits Factory Trailer Hitch on a 2004 Toyota Sienna
Question:
I purchased a factory 2007 Sienna trailer hitch for my 2004 Sienna. It did not come with any bolt kit. The dealer also doesn not carry this anymore. What do I need to mount this? Is the options as good as factory bolts?

According to my technical contact at Curt Manufacturing as long as the hitch that you are wanting to install on your 2004 Toyota Sienna uses the same mounting locations as the Curt Class III Trailer hitch # C13105, then the hardware kit that they supply would be appropriate for use.
Please review the video of this Curt hitch being installed on a 2007 Toyota Sienna and make sure that the same mounting locations are intended to be used with your existing factory hitch and 2004 Toyota Sienna. The installation instructions for this hitch are also included for your reference.
My contact further explained that their current production of the hardware kits consists of Grade 8 bolts that are rated for much heavier duty hitch application than this Curt Class III trailer hitch. Curt has decided to streamline and use only the Grade 8 hardware to prevent an underrated hardware kit being used to install a higher rated hitch.
For a replacement hardware kit for your 2004 Toyota Sienna you would enter the product # RHK and specify the manufacturer name (Curt) and the model number (# C13105).
