Will the Thule Hitch Post Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2011 Land Rover LR2 with Curt Hitch

I have a 2011 LR2 and a Thule Hitching Post bike carrier for 2inch hitch left over from my last vehicle. Im looking to purchase the Curt 13052 trailer hitch and am wondering if this setup will be compatible with the proper clearance? Thanks in advance for your time !!!

Once installed the Curt trailer hitch # C13052 will have the receiver recessed under your 2011 Land Rover LR2. We have yet to install one on a Land Rover so I do not know the exact figure but based on the diagrams of similar hitches installed it appears that it would be too far for the old Hitching Post bike racks to clear the rear bumper.

What you can do is follow the instructions in the picture I have included to determine where the center of the hitch pin hole will be once the hitch is installed. This will give you a good estimation of where it will be. Then measure from the center of the pin hole on the bike rack to the nearest part of the rack that may interfere with the vehicle bumper. This will tell you if the rack will clear the bumper or not.
