Installation Process for Wiring Harness on 2021 Subaru Forester
Question:
How to connect trailer wire to my 2021 Subaru Forester?

Expert Reply:
In order to add wiring to your 2021 Subaru Forester you will first need a wiring harness like the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118467. Once you have the wiring harness, you will need to locate the connection point in your rear cargo area. The T-One connector plugs directly into your existing wiring. Once installed, you will have a 4-way connection at the rear of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights.
I have attached an installation video so you can see what the process is like, along with the written instructions for your reference.
