Will Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # C18115 Fit a 2006 Toyota 4Runner with Factory Roof Rack

Question:

Will Curt Cargo Roof Mounted Basket # C18115 Fit my 2006 Toyota 4Runner? The reason I ask this, is because the factory roof rack crossbars have an arch to them. Most roof rack crossbars that I have seen are flat. Just want to make sure that I wont have an problems with the cargo roof basket.

Most factory crossbars that run side to side have more of an arch in them. Aftermarket roof racks tend to be straight. The slight curve of the bars will not be an issue. You will want to position the basket in the center of the roof so it is not leaning to one side. The Curt cargo basket will fit on crossbars that are up to 3 inches wide and that have a bar spread that measures at least 15 inches. The crossbar spread is measured from the center of the front bar to the center of the rear bar.
