Can The Curt High-Low Adapter Be Used To Tow A Trailer?

Question:

I have a travel trailer with a dry weight of 1,800 pounds. I need to a few inches to make the trailer tow level. I know you show this for flat towing a car. Can I use it to tow a trailer? If not, what can you suggest?

Unfortunately, the Curt High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars # C59KR is not to be used to tow a trailer, and should only be used for hitch mounted accessories.

Instead, you'll want to use a ball mount to tow your trailer. For instance, you can use the Draw-Tite Ball Mount # 2753, which has 2-3/4" of rise, and 4" of drop, is 9" long, and is capable of towing up to 7,500-lbs.

I recommend using the FAQ I've attached, to help determine the needed rise/drop.
