Recommended Camper Tie-Downs For A 2006 Toyota Tundra Double Cab
Question:
Hello, I have a 2006 Toyota Tundra Double Cab. I am looking at a set of Brophy stake pocket camper tie downs. Do you know if these will fit the stake pockets on my truck? Thank you.

The manufacturer, C.R. Brophy, only tested the Brophy Stake Pocket Mounted Camper Tie Downs # TDSF on full-sized American made trucks so we do not have a confirmation that they will work. There is also the stipulation that they'll only work with a truck bed camper with a total length up to 8', so I don't believe these would be the best option for your Tundra.
Instead I recommend the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Front # TLT2301 with the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Rear # TLT3301 if you have the Standard Tow Package without a board or step underneath the truck bed and with a factory installed hitch.
If you have the HD Tow Package without board or step underneath truck bed and with a factory installed hitch then you'll need the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Front # TLT2301 with the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Rear # TLT3302 instead.
To complete your setup you'll also need some turnbuckles, for this I recommend the TorkLift AnchorGuard Derringer Turnbuckles for Truck Camper Tie-Downs # TLS9020. These stainless steel turnbuckles have built-in levers for quick, simple tightening, making it fast and easy to secure your camper to your truck bed.
