To install a trailer brake controller and 7-way connector on your 2007 Freightliner M2 you'll need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 along with additional 10AWG # 10-1-1 wire to run the length of your vehicle.
Since you won't have a 4-way wiring harness you'll need to first install the Hopkins Endurance 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM48110. This can be spliced into your tail lights for a quick and easy installation that will make wiring in the # ETBC7 much easier.
Once you have the wiring harnesses installed you can install a trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195. Obviously since you're running wire quite a bit longer than the normal application you may need additional 10AWG wire to complete this setup.
