What 4-Way Flat Connector Do I Need for an LED Light Bar on My 2005 Toyota Tacoma?
Question:
My truck does not have that 4 pin configuration. It has a round set of pins? This for a 2005 Toyota Tacoma LED tailgate light bar.

Expert Reply:
If you have a round connector on your 2005 Toyota Tacoma, it is most likely a 7-way round connector. If you need a 4-way connector to install the light bar, the best route for fitment is to install the Tekonsha T-One Harness # 118496. Once you install this harness to your vehicle, you will have a 4-way connector at the rear of your truck to use for a light bar that requires a 4-way flat.
I went ahead and attached an installation video of the harness being installed on a 2006 model. The process is virtually identical on your 2005 model.
