Parts Needed to Install a Fully-Functional 7-Way and Brake Controller in a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek
Question:
Looking for help with a 13 Subaru Crosstrek that has a factory installed 4-way plug. Are there plug/play kits to add the 7-pin and a then a brake controller? Need this for a small camper that has e-brakes, and want to be able to charge the camper battery while towing.

What you are going to need to install a fully-functional 7-way and brake controller in your 2013 Subaru Crosstrek is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Kit # ETBC7. There are no plug and play options that would simply allow you to plug in a 7-way and a brake controller.
I attached installation instructions for the # ETBC7 and an installation video for you to check out to show you how it all installs.
If you have not picked out a brake controller yet I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885. This is one of out best selling controllers because of how easy it is to set up and use and because of how well it works.
