Best Weight Distribution System Option for V-Nose Trailer

Question in regard to weight distributing hitches... I tried to get a WD hitch installed on my 2016 Tundra for a cargo/motorcycle trailer. Tech at the hitch place said it would not work. I have a v nose trailer. The mounting instructions for the hitch say to mount the brackets 36 from the ball. That puts them right against the sheet metal of the trailer. This would make the torsion bars jam up against the sheet metal and damage the trailer. Does a WD hitch with shorter arms exist?

There are a few options for installing weight distribution on a v-nose trailer, the best of which are the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems like part # EQ37100ET which although they don't have shorter bars, you can install them so that they work with the covered frame which you can see in the photos below.

Please note, these systems are chosen based on capacity so if the above option is not in-line with your needs you can look through the list below for a new size.
