Plugging Hopkins Trailer Wiring into 2017 Subaru Forester
Question:
The plugin with the blue tape already is already used by another plug. not certain what this is for. Do I just unplug this so I can plug in the connection for the trailer wire harness?

You would need to unplug what's in the current port that you found on your 2017 Subaru Forester to plug in the Hopkins part # HM11143865 that you have. I attached an install video for this on a 2017 Forester for you to check out as well.
