Platform and Tie Downs for a Ladder on an Existing Roof Rack
Question:
Have an existing roof rack with cross bars on a toyota 4 runner 2021. I need some kind of system that will allow me to have some additional height above my roof so that my ladder is not scratching my roof. Is there a product or rack/crossbars that could fit on to my existing rack? Also, what product would you recommend to secure the ladder once once on the rack. i’m leaning towards a rhino system. I need something that looks good but is functional.

For your 2021 Toyota 4Runner with roof rack you could use the Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack # RR42114BF which has a universal fit for most crossbars. The Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack # RR42114BF would provide you with some extra height and a more solid platform for your ladder.
You would then be able to use the Load Stops for Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars or Pioneer Platform Rack # RRRLH2 with some Rhino-Rack Cam Buckle Cinch Straps # RRRTD35P to secure the ladder to the platform.
