Can RV Sink be Used for Residential Bathroom

Question:

I am remodeling the bathroom in my home, and it is quite small, with most of the available sinks being too big. Is there any reason why I cannot use an rv bathroom sink in my home? Are there any special considerations that need to be looked at? My remodel is at a standstill because of this. I look forward to your prompt response. Thank you,

You definitely can use an RV sink, like the LaSalle Bristol # 34416186PWA, for your residential bathroom but it is worth noting that most of the RV sinks have a plastic material as opposed to porcelain like a standard sink. This is due to RV manufacturers trying to save as much as they can on weight.

The biggest difference between residential and RV plumbing systems has to do with the actual construction of the water lines. RVs use weaker lines simply because the standard RV water pressure is lower than residential. So as long as you use residential plumbing lines you'll be good to go!
