Difference Between Drum & Disc Demco Hydraulic Brake Line Kits For Tandem Axle Trailers
Question:
How is a disc brake line kit different from a drum brake line kit?
asked by: Greg
Expert Reply:
The difference is that the brake line kits for hydraulic drum brakes have two flexible hoses while the kits for disc brakes (which can be used with drum brakes) have four flexible hoses to connect to the calipers. The calipers "float" and need to move a bit which is why the added flexible lines are needed; so you'll want to choose based on what brakes you have:

- Hydraulic Disc Brakes: Demco Hydraulic Brake Line Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers # DM5425
