How Do I Determine What Steps I Need for My 2017 Forest River Flagstaff MAC 228d?
Question:
Thank you for the answer and review. I am looking for something that will bolt on underneath, more of a manual pull out 2 step since i don't really have room to store the steps that fit inside the doorway. My current step is a manual pull out and is 24" wide and 14" deep. the bolt holes are 22-5/8" center to center. If you could recommend any bolt on manual 2 steps that would be great.

I have a 2-step answer for you. Unfortunately, we do not carry the Rockwood Extreme Sports step model that you are referring to and I do not have access to the specs of those models.
However, we do have some great options for you. Two of the key factors you need to consider when adding steps is the entryway height and the doorway width of your 2017 Forest River Flagstaff MAC 228d. For example, if you have an entryway height between 25" - 29" and a doorway width of 21-3/4" - 22-1/4", I recommend the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps for 21-3/4" to 22-1/4" Wide Doorways # MR86RR. Not only does the StepAbove come with a 500-pound weight capacity, it also includes individually-adjusting legs for maximum ground contact (even on uneven terrain).
In order to know what steps work great for you, feel free to respond to this answer with the measurements of your entryway height and doorway width. I went ahead and attached a product listing of all our 2-step options for campers.
