Yes, the Thule Base Rails # TH21501 can be paired with the Thule Xsporter Pro Shift Overland Truck Bed Rack # TH54RR to fit your 2018 Ford F-150 with the 6-1/2' bed. This system will add 18" of height from the top of your bed rail to the top of the crossbars. That same measurement is 22-3/4" to the top of the load stops if you will be using them.

For something around the 12" high mark I recommend the Yakima OutPost HD Overland Truck Bed Rack # Y01152-58. This doesn't come with the sliding rails but it has industry standard-sized crossbars so you can use it for hauling or for recreational carriers, and this only sits 13" above your truck bed rails. I actually had the opportunity to install this on a 2020 F-250 so I'm linking that video for you to check out.
