Storage And Scooter Carrier For Class C Motorhome.

Question:

Interested in the 84x24 folding unit. I want something like this to hold a 300lb scooter about 75 long plus other gear. That is why I am attracted to this instead of a normal scooter rack. I see this does not have a ramp, but otherwise, do you think it would work for what i want? Other recommendations?

I have a solution for you. The 24x84 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs # e96ZR could be used to carry your gear if properly secured. However it is only compatible with bumpers that are 4x4 inches.

If your bumper is not the right size I recommend the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long - 500 lbs # UF48-979033. It will fit your hitch and will be able to handle the weight of your scooter.

Then you will have to store your gear inside the RV or if you have the room, you can get a Lippert Underchassis Double Bin Storage Unit for RVs - 96" Long # LC175180.
