What Hitch Receiver Fits My 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500
Question:
Hi, I have a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 - 170 wheel base, passenger van, what does it mean? Hitch does not fit models with 30-3/8inch frame, measured outside to outside of frame. , how can I find out? thank you.

Expert Reply:
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van with the 30-3/8", is smaller than the standard size Sprinter van. It is narrower. That is the reason the hitch receiver does not fit that frame, it is too wide. You can measure the width of your frame to determine if you have the normal size frame on your Sprinter van.
If you do, the hitch receiver that is compatible with your 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 will depend on which bumper you have.
The factory step bumper is compatible with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # 75601, you attached to your question. If you have the standard bumper, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # 75549, will fit your Sprinter van.
I have included a product description link and video installations of both hitch receivers below.
