Kayak and Paddleboard Roof Rack Carrying Recommendation for 2005 Lexus RX330 With Factory Crossbars
Question:
Would your system be able to be used with a one person Kayak and a 12 ft paddle board on my 2005 Lexus RX 330 with a factory roof rack?

According to the Thule Fit Guide the Stacker # TH830 will install directly on the existing factory installed roof rack on your 2005 Lexus RX330. Please note that the minimum crossbar spread for this carrier is 24 inches. Please also check your owners manual and make sure that the roof rack on your Lexus will support the weight of the kayak, paddleboards and weight of the carriers.
The Stacker is not designed to be used on a kayak longer than 10 feet so it is not recommended for use on your 12 foot paddle board. If your kayak is longer than 10 feet Thule recommends the Hullavator # TH834.
If there is room on your existing factory crossbars and the weight capacity is not a limitation I recommend using the ether the # TH830 or # TH834 for your kayak, and the # TH811XT to carry your paddleboard.
You might also consider a tire step to help in loading and unloading your kayak and paddleboard like the # HE4040. This tire step is height adjustable and will fit over your Lexus RX330 tires, and can fold flat and when not in use.
I have provided links to the products listed above as well a some videos for your reference.
