How To Wire F-250 for Charging Airstream's Battle Born Batteries While Towing

Question:

I have a new F-250 and Airstream with four 100 amp hour Battle Born batteries. I want to keep these charged, recharge, as we drive and tour without putting a lot of solar panels on top. It came prewired for solar we currently have a 100 watt panel that does well keeping the battery pack topped off while in storage lot but that is not enough when doing dispersed camping and I really don't want to put more panels up there.

We have just what you need in the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger, # 331-BCDC1240D. The Redarc battery charger allows for easy charging of your battery bank while you're on the move. This Dual Input DC-to-DC charger pulls power from your vehicle's start battery and can transfer up to 40 amps of current to both charge and maintain your auxiliary battery. This dual input charger can pull power from 2 different sources, it first accepts charge from your vehicle's battery then from the built-in maximum power point tracking (MPPT) regulator that you can connect your solar panel through.

This is a 3-stage smart charger. The boost stage will maintain a constant current to the Battle Born batteries to quickly help it regain power. When nearing the max charge voltage it will shift to absorption stage and then finally into the float charge stage keeping the battery bank in full charge all while you drive from destination to destination.
