Comparing Draw-Tite and EcoHitch Trailer Hitch Receivers For a 2021 Tesla Model Y
Question:
Can you clarify the difference or pros/con’s of the two Tesla Model Y hitches you sell?

The main difference between the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT58MR and EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH39FR is going to be the construction.
The Draw-Tite # DT58MR is going to be a steel construction with an e-coat base and powder coat finish.
The EcoHitch # EH39FR which is the receiver I recommend has an aluminum and steel alloy construction with a powder coat finish. This hitch is manufactured in the USA. I personally prefer how the chain hooks are mounted vertically on this receiver. See the linked installation videos for both below to help you determine which may be best for your use.
Both receivers included a limited lifetime warranty and are Class III rated with a 2" square receiver tube which allows for a maximum trailer capacity of 3,500lbs. The EcoHitch rates maximum tongue weight at 350lbs while the Draw-Tite is rated at 525lbs. Be sure to not exceed any limits given by Tesla for your Model Y.
I recommend using the Tekonsha # 119250KIT trailer wire harness. This will allow you to connect to most small trailers as well as add Auxiliary Lights # C53201 for any hitch mounted accessory that impairs the view of your tail lights.
