Etrailer is awesome, they offer great prices and their install videos are incredibly helpful. My install went as expected. Hitch has been working well for me; I use it for a bike rack to haul around up to 4 bikes.
The draw-tight trailer hitch arrived as expected, I let packaged. The installation was a breeze, especially with the online videos for installation on a Tesla Model Y. I could not have expected any better of an experience from etrailer as they always deliver great products.

3 hour install for me, took my time and watched the videos a few times.
Straight forward instructions and solid Hitch receiver.
Hitch is sturdy and goos quality. Took roughly about 2 hours to install as it says on the website. The only con is that you are loosing your factory tow hook on the back but who’s even towing someone out of the ditch, it’d be very rare and I guess u can buy hitch attachment with hook if you really want it. If you really meed it go with the other hitch option the ‘Eco….’. Overall etrailer.com never disappoints, I have shopped here many times and will do as soon as I need something else from them!

Working great
Recieved Item today. Item was delivered in poor condition due to lack of packaging matetial and/or this item was previously sold item that was returned and sold to me- due to signs or rust and heavily damaged powder coating. VERY Unsatisfied with the item being delivered in this manner. Poor product quality assuarance from vendor. Hopefully they can correct this issue with other propected buyers.

I apologize that it arrived this way. Sometimes when hitches are shipped to us they rub against each other as they are shipped in large pallets all together. This causes imperfections to the powder coat. We will contact you about the damage. Look out for an email.
Great product and really easy to install after watching their videos
Easier to install than I expected. Took under 2 hours, but pet of that time was we forgot to plug in the rear bumper ultrasonic sensors so we spent time getting it plugged back in. We could have pulled the bumper off but with the hitch cover removed and a long and skinny arm we were able to get it plugged back in. The directions weren’t the greatest on the paper but I was able to follow a video from [online site] Still, the product was in perfect shape when it arrived, and it arrived quick. Install went well and now my two friends that are both ordering Model Ys are going to go this route instead of paying Tesla $[XXXX]+ tax. Would highly recommend!
Installation is kinda a pain but that's because of Tesla's design only. The hitch appears nice quality. I have not received my cargo attachments yet so I have not gotten to use it yet.

I had placed an order with another company and after waiting 2 weeks without the product even shipping yet, I cancelled the order with them and went to etrailer.com. The same hitch system was ordered and scheduled to arrive in 4 days, but showed up in just 2 days, saving my road trip that I had planned for the next week Amazing. Thank you!
The directions suggested 2-3 to install. We installed in 90 min !! Great product !!
This is a solid hitch! Installation is very straight forward. On my Tesla model Y, (after removing the bumper) I simply removed the bumper bar and the hitch mounts up to the existing bolts. Torque to spec and your good to go. Nice to have saved more than $[XXX] buying an aftermarket hitch vs. buying it from Tesla. Now I can carry my bikes - thanks etrailer!
I was happy with the price, speed of delivery, and the product. It came just a few days after I ordered it, and installation only took a few hours. My only complaint is that the hole for the pin is not a full 5/8" on the right (as it is on the left) so you cannot use a standard pin. Had I known this ahead of time, I would have drilled it out. I assume this is a strategy to get you to buy a special pin, which is annoying.
It was shipped fast , I received my hitch on time . It's very sturdy and fits my Tesla model Y just like the original at a quarter of a price . Even though the box was tossed around by UPS and it opened a cut on the box it only made a little scratch since the hitch is so rigid.
Quinn was super helpful in allowing me to return one hitch we had ordered for a BMW and exchanging it for one that fit our new Tesla. The hitch has been installed, looks great (actually, you can't see it) and all is good. I have no hesitation in recommending these guys.
Instructions were thorough about fastener removal counts. We’ll made and robust product. Video was excellent and very instructive. If there were work instructions that summarized that video with images, that would be extremely helpful.

Draw-tight hitch after a year of use has been perfect. I use it to haul a bicycle rack with two mountain bikes and have rented a travel trailer to pull to a local RV park and it worked flawlessly.
